Born on Edisto Island, South Carolina, USA, Sandhi is a New York City-based Cabaret Performer-Singer-Actress-Playwright. She received her B,A. in Journalism from the Howard University School of Communications, with a minor in Theatre Arts from the College of Fine Arts in Washingto, DC. Subsequent studies were obtained in Human Rights from Columbia University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, New York City. She's a member of SAG-AFTRA; the League of Professional Theatre Women; a member of The Society for the Preservation of Theatrical History; and Stage Struck.
This seasoned cabaret Performer has graced the stage in numerous venues with her cabaret show “Eartha, La Chanteuse!” (A 10-song Tribute to the legendary Eartha Kitt). Recently performed at the world-renowned Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar Lounge, NYC to a sold-out audience! Sandhi has headlined as a cabaret singer throughout the USA, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Singing residencies include The Mandarin Oriental Hotel (The Bamboo Bar), Bangkok, Thailand; Lemuria and Ephelia Constance Resorts, Seychelles, Africa; and Hilton International Hotels in Istanbul, Turkey; Munich & Dusseldorf, Germany; Vienna, Austria; and Budapest, Hungary, among others.
