Paula Mejstel's brand of jazz has been enjoyed at some of the world's finest hotels, restaurants and casinos. The Buenos Aires native studied at the Mannes Jazz School of Music in New York while soaking in Manhattan's sultry jazz scene. Recently, she has called Barcelona home while performing in Spain, Argentina, the USA and Scandinavia. She is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
Inspired by jazz greats Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Shirley Horn and crooners Stevie Wonder, George Benson and Ray Charles, Paula infuses other musical genres—pop, rock, Latin, R&B, and disco—with her jazzy sound. She performs with a sophisticated elegance reminiscent of the 1950s.
Paula sings in many ensembles, from duos to big bands, and works with her own trio.
