After having performed countless times for festivals and special events (Joni Mitchell Paz Fest, St. Louis pedal steel convention, Abita Springs Opry, Kerrville Folk Music Festival) and many local clubs (Snug Harbor, Bombay Club, Polo Club at the Windsor Court Hotel, Southern Hotel, Live Oak Cafe), KASS has only recently arrived in a place where she is performing the music she has loved all her life — vocal jazz.
This most recent version of KASS’ performance identity sees her singing jazz standards in combos, and also playing solo at local piano bars -- including regular shifts the world famous Pat O'Brien's in New Orleans. She often branches out into other genres when the chance arises, collaborating with independent songwriters to create her own songs.
