Piano bar entertainer Lisa York has brought her eclectic style of music to some of the world's finest entertainment venues. A pianist and vocalist since the age of 5, she offers a distinctive mix of smoky jazz, sultry ballads, silky Latin, rhythm & blues and ragtime, with a little New Orleans added. Jon Bream of the Minneapolis Star & Tribune and The Twin Cities Reader’s Tom Surowicz, respectively, have declared Lisa’s voice "passionate, dramatic, subtly soulful, and authoritative." Lisa romances a song. She lives up to her reviews with grace and ease.
Lisa has been in constant demand as a pianist, keyboardist and vocalist locally, nationally and internationally for over 25 years. She has a vocal repertoire in several languages. She has also worked with R&B legend Syl Johnson and blues artist Percy Strother.
