Michael Whitehead

Whitehead, Michael video demo

Michael Whitehead’s music career began in Southern California performing from Los Angeles to San Diego as a band member and solo entertainer.  He also spent hours as a session guitarist in recording studios throughout that area.  During his final year in Los Angeles, he was guitarist and musical director for former teen idol and pop star Leif Garrett.

Michael moved to Nashville after a decade in Southern California.  He soon was enlisted by Anthony Crawford, a multi instrumentalist for Neil Young and Steve Winwood, as guitarist and harmony singer and toured with Anthony for a few years.  Michael also immersed himself in writing sessions with noteworthy Nashville songwriters, including Stacey Widelitz and Chas Sanford.

Most recently Michael has been a highly rated solo/acoustic/guitarist/singer on board Holland America and Carnival Cruise Line ships.  With an always growing song list, Michael has something to offer all musical tastes.
