Small Talk is a dynamic and compact musical Duo, created by Zoe Jackson and David Gee, originally from the U.K., have over 26 years experience as Professional musicians, and now work Internationally on Cruise Ships, Resorts, Stadiums, Theatres, Private VIP functions, Radio and T.V.
Small Talk perform every style of music from Classic Hits, Jazz Standards, Soul, Motown, Disco, Funk, to todays popular music, entertaining and engaging the crowd with every song. Their repertoire will fit any venue, from smaller Piano/Cocktail lounges, Nightclub or Discos, to a full Theatre show.
Zoe Jackson-Lead Vocals, Keyboards/Piano & Guitar:
Zoe has been a Lead Vocalist/Pianist and Guitarist on Ferries and Cruise ships, and a Professional musician in many capacities, including Function Bands, Duos, and Solo Principal Musician, since 1990.
Zoe began her career as a guitar/vocalist at the age of 7, and later taught herself piano and began Cruise Ship contracts with Renaissance Cruises on 1999. She also speaks fluent French having lived in France throughout the 90's. Zoe is currently contracted with Norwegian Cruise Lines on various ships, including the Norwegian Epic and the Jade.
Dave Gee-Drums, Vocals and Percussion:
David started playing drums at the age of 4, mainly self-taught, and from the age of 9, he attended, and was mentored by a Jazz Youth Orchestra where he learned to read music.
David has been working bands from the age of 11, both in the U.K. and abroad professionally. From 2010, he began working on Cruise Lines as a Guest Entertainer, in various Tribute Bands. Cruise Lines include, Disney, Fred Olsen, Saga, and more recently for NCL on the Epic and the Jade, and the Spirit.
Small Talk has a BIG sound, due to it's unique vocals, live drums, 'custom-made' backings and arrangements.
