Lara Starr Rigores is a native New Yorker, born in the Bronx. She started playing piano at the age of seven.
Lara was the accompanist for Fine, Funny and Female, the Off-Broadway, all female, sketch comedy show. She traveled throughout the USA performing at a variety of venues and events with 176 Keys Fun Pianos, has performed at Rum Runners piano bar in Destin, Florida, and was the keyboard player for LA's newest musical Improvisation show YouTunes, which played at The Second City and The Neon Venus theaters in Hollywood.
Lara greatly enjoys sharing the gifts of music and comedy. Her music can be heard on the T.V. show Living In Exile, which will be available soon on Amazon Prime. She specializes in sing-a-long tunes, rock, standards, and audience interaction -- and is always looking forward to playing new venues and meeting new audiences!
