Alison Riethmuller

At just 4 years old, Alison Riethmuller was an aspiring and enthusiastic pianist. Throughout childhood, she continued her music studies, performed regularly, and enjoyed many successes in competitions. Her intensive classical training was balanced with a love of music theater, jazz and ensemble playing, resulting in her impressive flexibility as a performer of a wide range of musical genres.

Alison has performed professionally since she was 17. Her diverse professional engagements have included working as a classical accompanist, chamber musician, jazz/pop vocalist, cocktail pianist, music theatre/cabaret performer, and lounge piano bar entertainer. In 1998, Alison was invited to join the internationally acclaimed luxury Orient-Express train, the Great South Pacific Express, as resident piano bar entertainer and entertainment coordinator. Over five years, Alison regularly performed for the rich and famous from Australia and abroad, international and domestic media, and even Queen Elizabeth II. When the "Great South Pacific Express" completed its final journey in 2003, Alison became resident vocalist at the equally luxurious five-star Hayman Island Resort in North Queensland.

These fabulous employment opportunities have given Alison, who also holds a bachelor of business degree in public relations, invaluable experience both as a performer and as a member of five-star hospitality teams, and also whetted her appetite for travel and tourism. Her genuinely warm and friendly personality, coupled with her understanding and appreciation of the superior quality and client expectations in this niche area of the entertainment industry, make her a consummate professional in any situation.
