Born in New Jersey, Christen Placa grew up in Cincinnati Ohio and has been singing since she could speak. At the age of 12, she was already performing live and writing her own music. She has a repertoire of more than 150 cover songs, that will meet the needs of any audience. It ranges from classic 60's rock to the newest pop hits.
Christen is also a unique songwriter, effortlessly blending raw artistry with refined technique and musicality. Writing music has always been a way for her to express her emotions and work through difficult parts of her life. Christen uses ethereal vocals, catchy melodies, and lyrics drawn from a place of truth to create a colorful experience for the listener. She aspires to use music as a way to heal and give the world the same gift music has given to her. Without it she would be lost.
Most recently Christen has been performing as the rock band vocalist on the Carnival Glory.
