Her singing style is informed by the harmony and improvisation of jazz horn sections. JP's vocals draw upon her roots in gospel, jazz, pop, R&B, hip hop, disco and blues.

In 1995, JP released her debut CD, featuring the track Just in Time. She has also recorded songs for game software companies such as Nintendo and Sega. As a live performer, JP has entertained crowds around the world, in the USA, Russia, Western Europe and Asia. Like a gifted actress, JP always makes the lyrics come alive, combining exquisite elegance, impressive range and an effortless delivery.
