Jim Lockwood

Lockwood, Jim video demo

Jim Lockwood was born into a musical family. His father was a big band musician playing baritone sax and clarinet with many bands and entertainers of the day. His mother was an aspiring country singer/songwriter who made records in Nashville, TN and performed in nightclubs and on television in the sixties and early seventies. Jim was bitten by the musical bug early in life.

In early 2013, Jim’s friend approached him about performing in a dueling piano show at Spirits On Bourbon, a successful bar/restaurant on world famous Bourbon Street in New Orleans. This opportunity gave Jim’s career a new direction and, in addition to Spirits On Bourbon, Jim now performs regularly at The Chophouse, an upscale restaurant in downtown New Orleans. Every summer Jim can be seen performing at Beatlefest, an annual Beatles tribute show at House of Blues New Orleans with his friends The Topcats and Chuck Credo IV. This show has become a summer “event” in New Orleans and sells out every year.

While New Orleans is his home, Jim travels regularly and performs at various events throughout the country as a solo singer/pianist.
