Frankye Kelly

Frankye Kelly has been singing the blues since she was 3. She spent part of her youth in Detroit, where she met music industry legends like Emmanual Lasky and Johnnie Mae Matthews. She has performed with jazz and blues greats such as Calvin Keys, Coco Montoya, Robert Stewart, Ed Kelly, Kalil Shahid, and Buddy Montgomery. Vocal influences such as the "Divine One" Sarah Vaughn can be heard in Frankye's voice.

Now settled in California, Frankye is considered among the premier jazz and blues vocalists throughout the greater San Francisco Bay area. She has worked at both the hip, intimate jazz clubs and the ritzy hotel venues. She has headlined both national and international jazz festivals while touring in Asia, Europe and Mexico. When Frankye is not touring, you can find her in the Conservatory Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay in California.
