A classically trained pianist, Eric began his study of the piano at the age of seven, and he started composing original music at age eighteen.
He received a BA in Business Administration from the University of Florida, graduating with honors in 2002. When in college, he became influenced by a variety of musical styles including rock, R&B, jazz and new age.
In February 2003, Eric got a job with Carnival Cruise Lines as a piano bar pianist/singer after building an extensive repertoire of cover songs from genres including pop, rock, R&B, country, hip hop and Broadway. Eric left Carnival in late 2009 and became a piano bar entertainer for Holland America Line in January of 2010 where he spent the next three and a half years performing. Eric has also performed at several dueling pianos clubs throughout the U.S.
Eric spent several months in Nashville, Tennessee during 2014 and 2015 recording his self-titled debut album of original adult contemporary/pop style music working with some of the best studio session players in the country. Eric wrote all of the songs on the album, produced the record and wrote all of the musical arrangements as well.
