Fantasy Duo

Flavi and Mary formed the Fantasy Duo in 1995. They immediately began performing in the finest nightclubs and hotels in their native Romania, including famous Black Sea resorts, Club Tezaal in Bucharest and the top venues in Romania’s best winter resort of Sinaia—with an extended two year engagement at the famous Holiday Inn Resort Sinaia. In 1997, they signed on for their initial performances in Scandinavia. They were a success there from the start, having expanded their repertoire to include country, blues and boogie. They are still performing in that area today.

Mary was born in 1975. After high school, she graduated with top honors from art school. She began singing when she was a young girl, her first idol being Elvis Presley. She had her first professional contract when she was only 16 years old. Mary now has a very large repertoire, from the oldest standards to the hottest current top pop hits. She especially likes singing the popular songs of Shania Twain, Reba McEntire, Celine Dion, George Michael and Whitney Houston. She also plays acoustic guitar and does a great job playing rhythm guitar and percussions. Mary is a very dynamic singer and sings in Italian, Spanish, French, Swedish, Greek and Turkish.

Flavi was born in 1968. He started to play piano at home at an early age and later studied piano at music school. Flavi played in many bands, initially as a teenager, he performed locally with his friends in a cover band. Later, he performed in one of Romania’s most famous heavy metal bands. Flavi is fluent in English, can speak Norwegian and is able to sing in Spanish, Italian and Swedish. The piano is his favorite instrument and he can play hours of easy listening music. He is a computer hobbyist, with which he loves to write music and edit audio and video materials.
