Isabelle de Valvert

From the very beginning, vocalist Isabelle de Valvert was destined to live out her own happily-ever-after fairy tale set within the realms of the music business. Her father, a big band leader, songwriter and composer who performed worldwide, traveled frequently—and Isabelle went along. In fact, she was delivered in a suitcase during one of her father's saxophone solos while the family was on tour.

Isabelle, a French native, is versatile in both her singing range and aptitude for languages. A songwriter and composer herself, she has the ability to entertain in six languages, including Italian, English, Brazilian and Spanish, as well as her native tongue. Her outstanding voice can span an incredible range—from mellow, childlike, sultry and gutsy to soprano.

Beautiful Isabelle, who is also a model, has what it takes to deliver a sophisticated and interactive performance, partly due to her skilled stage presence as a professional dancer. Her repertoire, like her many talents, is varied and extensive. In what appears as effortless, she belts out the soulful sounds of her idol, Ella Fitzgerald, as well as other vocal greats' selections, such as those of Tina Turner and Edith Piaf. In addition to her obvious love of jazz music, Isabelle rounds out her repertoire with easy-listening, pop and show tunes.
